The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) appointed OMA along with chrisjopsonconsulting's team of equine, veterinary and sports experts to review the architectural drawings of the Horse Owners Complex, Phase II.
The initial development (Phase I) included five stable buildings with fifteen stable boxes in addition to an arena, farrier workshop, veterinary offices, general administration, and grooms accommodation, along with other supporting facilities.
The second phase of the Horse Owners Complex, and the subject of the design review, consisted of several stable clusters located around the initial phase, including Horse Walkers, Grooms Accommodation, Isolation Stables and a Vet Clinic.
The team provided a thorough report with key recommendations that would enable the facility to realise its potential in both the National and International equine landscape.
