Endurance Community Village is an endurance horse racing facility located along the west coast of Qatar. The Ministry of Youth and Sports commissioned the project to host FEI endurance competitions, along with year-round, world-class training facilities. The project features a complex set of programs, including an event venue, competition stables, equine training and veterinary facilities, chalets, and grooms accommodation.
The design strategy isolates the distinct sets of programmatic elements into compact circular clusters, positioned opportunistically within the site to best align with the context and required adjacencies.
chrisjopsonconsulting's team of specialist equine technical consultants supported the OMA design team, including veterinary surgeons and equine endurance competition experts, to complement CJ-C's specialist equine overlay and operations integration skill sets.
Role:  Equine sports architecture integration, equine operations & overlay coordination
